| LMP National Competition |
The LMP National Competition will be held April 11-13, 2007 at the Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando. Miami Beach High School, winners of the 4th Annual Florida LMP Competition will represent Florida at this competition. The FRLAEF will cover all costs associated with this event. |
| EI Summer Institute Scholarships |
At least nine LMP/START instructors will attend the EI Summer Institute. Attendees will be selected through an application process. The EI Summer Institute was developed to provide the opportunity to learn more about the lodging industry while increasing teacher confidence and energizing the classroom presentation of the LMP materials. Applications will be available in Spring 2007. |
| Lodging Industry Internships |
| At least five LMP/START instructors can earn a Lodging Industry Internship. The Internship provides the opportunity to gain real world experience while working at least 40 hours in a lodging establishment. At the conclusion of the Internship, each instructor is paid $600. |
