PROSTART ARTICULATION AGREEMENTS  
       
 

Le Cordon Bleu Miami

College of Culinary Arts

Specifically under this agreement, students will receive advanced standing in the following courses:

 

CUL 110

Introduction to culinary Skills I

3 credits

The awarding of credits shall be based on the review/evaluation of the following:

1.           Student must be admitted as a degree-seeking student at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Miami within 24 months of high school graduation.

 

2.           Students must graduate from high school with a minimum grade point average of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or 3.0 (on a 5.0 scale) and have successfully received the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation (NRAEF) ProStart National Certificate of Achievement

 

3.           Should the student fail to make satisfactory progress in the next higher-level course, the student may be required to transfer back to a lower level course at the direction of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Miami.

 

4.           A student not meeting college admission requirements or a student who is not accepted for admittance will be counseled regarding their options for admission.

 

5.           The high school is responsible for completing a proficiency form identifying that the student has earned the NRAEF Certificate of Achievement and validating their workplace hours and competencies.

 

6.           All proficiency credit will be awarded after the student is accepted at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Miami. Tuition will be waived for these proficiency credits
